Kids helped dress Tomlin

When Piner football coach Matt Tomlin worked as an undercover cop in narcotics, he needed to dress like someone – let’s say – who didn’t look like he was going to Harvard.

“My kids would help dress me,” said Tomlin of his daughter Reve, 10, and sons Brayden, 7, and Brody, 5. “I’d wear a Mohawk, corn rows, whatever. I think at one time or another I wore every jersey for every NFL team. I’m a big Notre Dane fan so when Brad Quinn went to Cleveland, I wore a Cleveland Browns’ jersey.
